On 18.04.2023 in the city Pazardzhik held the kick-off meeting under the Erasmus + program, won by the Municipality of Pazardzhik.

The name of the project is „Implementation of Activity-based education concept in tackling of Urban air and water pollution challenge“, short name: „YOUNG ECO INSPECTORS“, project number: 2022-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000087846.

The project is financed by the Erasmus + program, with a total budget of 250,000 euros, distributed among all partner organizations.

The main goal of the project is to develop, implement and popularize an educational concept, based on activities, for students in secondary schools to deal with the environmental challenges faced by the communities in the regions of Pazardzhik – Bulgaria, Kochani – North Macedonia and Larisa – Greece.

The project proposes an interdisciplinary educational approach, suitable for any topics of public interest, with a high potential for implementation in any educational institution.

In the course of work on the project, new curricula will be developed, based on the application of a multidisciplinary concept for environmental education, including activities that use technologies and activities „in life“ (collection of real data), software applications for presenting the obtained results, performing data analysis, developing critical thinking and finding the best environmental solutions.
